Toyota and Microsoft Team Up

Toyota Corp. and Microsoft Corp have unveiled plans to build a global computer network
that would provide Toyota owners in-car information, navigation and
diagnostic services similar to GM.'s OnStar.
The partnership represents a new side business for Toyota. The Japanese auto maker will use Microsoft's Windows Azure technology to create a "cloud computing" system that can be accessed by Toyota vehicles around the world.
